Abstract

Caro Berndt widmet sich in diesem Überschuldungsradar dem Thema "Finanzielle Gesundheit". Die Autorin analysiert nicht nur die Verbindung von finanziellen Aspekten und Gesundheit/Wohlbefinden, sondern untersucht auch verschiedene Definitionen und daran angelehnte Konzepte, um die Bestimmungsfaktoren der finanziellen Gesundheit herauszuarbeiten und den Begriff klar abzugrenzen. Dabei verknüpft sie aktuelle internationale Studien, um die Herausforderungen bei der Vergleichbarkeit verschiedener Ansätze aufzuzeigen und deren Auswirkungen auf unterschiedliche Praxisfelder zu beleuchten. Es stehen sowohl die Finanzkompetenz der Verbraucher*innen als auch sozialpolitische und marktwirtschaftliche Mechanismen im Fokus. Der Beitrag trägt zur präzisen Begriffsbestimmung bei und bietet eine Grundlage für zukünftige Diskussionen zur finanziellen Gesundheit und verwandten Themen.
