Industrielle Abwärme urbaner Produktionsstandorte als Potential für die Wärmewende: Eine Analyse mit Fokus auf Baden Württemberg, Bayern, Niedersachsen und Nordrhein-Westfalen

Abstract

Industrielle Abwärme wird häufig als ein Baustein der urbanen Wärmewende genannt. Bisher fehlen jedoch räumliche Analysen zu den Potentialen urbaner Industrieunternehmen. Die "Plattform für Abwärme" ermöglicht erstmals eine umfassende Standortanalyse in Deutschland. Unsere Analyse in vier Bundesländern zeigt das Potenzial zur Integration urbaner Produktionsbetriebe in die kommunale Wärmeplanung. Es zeigen sich jedoch regionale Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Branchenstruktur und Entfernung zu Wohngebieten.
