Resilienz als Schlüsselkompetenz für zukunftsfähige Unternehmen im digitalen Zeitalter - Teil 4: Merkmale und Kernfaktoren resilienter Organisationen

Abstract

Organisationen sind heute mehr denn je in einem Umfeld hoher Dynamik, Unsicherheit und Komplexität tätig und wandeln sich zunehmend in digitale Organisationen. Globale Krisen, technologische Disruptionen, Lieferkettenstörungen oder regulatorische Veränderungen erfordern von Organisationen nicht nur Robustheit, sondern adaptive Anpassungsfähigkeit. Aufgrund dieser Entwicklungen hat Resilienz, im Sinne einer erhöhten Widerstandsfähigkeit, als organisatorisches Konzept nochmals erheblich an Bedeutung gewonnen. Vor dem Hintergrund des sog. 'Digitalen Wandels' und insgesamt wachsender globaler Unsicherheiten wird in dem vorliegenden Artikel der Serie zunächst untersucht, was 'Organisationale Resilienz' genau bedeutet und welche typischen Merkmale und Kernfaktoren resiliente Organisationen auszeichnen. Darauf aufbauend wird zum einen der Frage nachgegangen, welche Spannungsfelder bei der Umsetzung klassischer Strategien Organisationaler Resilienz im digitalen Zeitalter in der Praxis bestehen. Zum anderen wird untersucht, inwieweit resiliente Organisationen auf Basis klassischer Resilienzstrategien die konkurrierenden Ziele 'Konsistenz' und 'Flexibilität' in einem dynamischen Umfeld noch auszubalancieren vermögen und welche Rolle die 'Digitale Resilienz' für ein integriert-systemisches Resilienzmodell, das klassische und digitale Strategien vereint, spielen kann.
