Innovationstätigkeit des Automobilsektors: Analyse mit Fokus auf nachhaltigen Antriebstechnologien und Digitalisierung

Abstract

Die Transformation im Automobilsektor wird durch verschiedene internationale Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen bestimmt: Dekarbonisierung, Digitalisierung und Globale Produktions- und Nachfrageverlagerungen. Ziel der Studie ist es zu analysieren, wie die deutsche Automobilindustrie im internationalen und zeitlichen Vergleich im Hinblick auf nachhaltigen Antriebstechnologien und das automatisierte Fahren aufgestellt ist. Zunächst erfolgt eine detaillierte Patentanalyse zu ausgewählten Bereichen der Antriebstechnologie und der Digitalisierung des Fahrzeugs zur Bewertung insbesondere der mittelfristigen Entwicklungsarbeiten in der Automobilindustrie. Diese wird ergänzt durch die Analyse von Markenanmeldungen. Der Indikator ist im Vergleich zu Patenten als marktnäher zu bewerten und kann neben technologischen auch Entwicklungen im Dienstleistungsbereich abbilden. Parallel werden die globalen Absatzzahlen von Fahrzeugen zusammengetragen, um einen umfassenden Überblick zur Diffusion neuer Technologien in den Markt zu bekommen. Die Synthese zeigt die grundsätzlich gute Position Deutschlands in beiden Technologiebereichen, deckt mögliche Schwachstellen auf und erlaubt die Ableitung von Handlungsfeldern zur Stärkung der Innovations- und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit.
