Certificación de calidad y mejora continua: oportunidades para fortalecer la competitividad de las empresas industriales del Partido de General Pueyrredon

Abstract

Las empresas certifican normas de calidad e implementan programas de mejora continua con el objetivo de alcanzar ventajas competitivas, cumplir metas organizacionales y sistematizar el conocimiento a través de la codificación de información. Estas prácticas, al formalizar rutinas, contribuyen al desarrollo de capacidades dinámicas. En este marco, esta tesina tiene como objetivo caracterizar a las firmas del Partido de General Pueyrredon (PGP) en base a ambas prácticas. Se trata de una investigación de alcance descriptivo, en la cual se aplica Análisis de Correspondencias Múltiples (ACM) para construir perfiles de empresas. La fuente de datos es secundaria y corresponde a una encuesta realizada en 2023 a 261 firmas industriales del PGP. Los resultados muestran que existen diferencias en las características estructurales y estratégicas entre las empresas que certifican normas de calidad y aquellas que no lo hacen, así como entre las que implementan programas de mejora continua y las que no. Asimismo, se observa una asociación significativa entre ambas prácticas. Esta investigación contribuye al estudio de la competitividad del entramado productivo local.
