Cession de TPE-PME : le rôle du profil d’engagement du dirigeant sur l’intention de céder son entreprise

Abstract

Cette recherche explore les représentations des dirigeants de TPE-PME de plus de 55 ans dans une position potentielle de sortie de carrière entrepreneuriale via la cession de leur entreprise. La sortie de carrière entrepreneuriale marque la dernière étape du processus entrepreneurial, il est donc nécessaire d'intégrer la littérature sur les choix de carrière pour enrichir les facteurs originels de l'intention de cession. L'enjeu est d'investiguer de nouvelles dimensions du modèle d'intention dans le contexte du transfert d'entreprise au niveau du cédant. Nous proposons de mesurer l'influence des différentes dimensions de l'engagement sur l'intention de cession au travers d'un modèle de recherche liant quatre formes principales d'engagement : les engagements affectifs et les engagements instrumentaux ciblant l'entreprise, ainsi que le métier d'entrepreneur. Il ressort, au travers d'une étude quantitative, que ces différentes formes d'engagement peuvent avoir des impacts différenciés sur l'intention des dirigeants de céder leur entreprise dans un futur proche.
