Abstract

Notre premier objectif est de rappeler ici une brève histoire des deux premières périodes de la discipline Systèmes d'Information : celle du développement des S.I. (comment construire un bon S.I.?) puis celle de l'usage et du contrôle des S.I. (comment les S.I. peuvent-ils contribuer à améliorer les performances de « l'organisation gouvernée » ?). Ceci nous amène alors de décrire une évolution actuelle de l'Esprit de l'organisation et de l'Esprit de la technologie. Pour la recherche en systèmes d'information, nous défendons l'idée que la transformation des rapports entre organisation et technologie ouvre une troisième période, celle de la multi-gouvernance des S.I.: comment les S.I. peuvent-ils contribuer à l'articulation des collectifs dans des organisations multi-régulées ?
