Abstract

Reune la informacion disponible sobre recursos publicos destinados a programas sociales en educacion, salud, vivienda y seguridad social en America Latina. Presenta los resultados de estudios de incidencia de los gastos sociales referidos a Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Estados Unidos y Canada. Examina mediante un modelo la significacion que tiene el costo del programa y la calidad de los servicios en el diseno de politicas sociales.
