A Sample Of Crp Contract Holders On Future Land Use

Abstract

over 1700 CRP participants in Missouri were surveyed regarding future land use intentions and conservation practices, along with demographic characteristics. Results indicate that nearly 50 percent of CRP land will return to crop production when contracts expire and 30 percent will be used for pasture or hay.
