Abstract

Die heimische Wirtschaft durchlebte 2024 das zweite Rezessionsjahr in Folge. Neben der rückläufigen Industriekonjunktur schwächelten auch die Bauwirtschaft und einige Dienstleistungsbereiche. Mit der Konjunkturschwäche und Sondereffekten erhöhte sich das Budgetdefizit auf 4,7% des BIP. Trotz gestiegener Bruttorealeinkommen verlief die Konsumnachfrage der privaten Haushalte nur schleppend. Nach zwei Jahren sehr hoher Inflation verlangsamte sich der Preisauftrieb im Jahresdurchschnitt 2024 auf 2,9%.
