Exploring trends in workplace spirituality through bibliometric analysis

Abstract

Workplace spirituality has gained increasing attention in management and organizational studies, emphasizing purpose, interconnectedness, and ethical values in professional settings. While a substantial body of literature exists on this subject, there is limited knowledge regarding the trends and patterns shaping the field. This study employs bibliometric analyses and scientific mapping analysis to explore the intellectual landscape of workplace spirituality research. A total of 94 documents indexed in SCOPUS were analyzed to identify publication trends, influential authors, key citations, contributing countries, and leading journals. Furthermore, keyword analysis was conducted to uncover the most significant and emerging themes in the field. The outcomes offer significant perspectives on the growth of workplace spirituality, providing light on academic trends and patterns.
