Unternehmensethik in Praxis, Forschung und Lehre–Status quo und Perspektiven im deutschsprachigen Raum

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obwohl Fragen der Unternehmensethik in der Wirtschaftspraxis und der Öffentlichkeit intensiv diskutiert werden, nahm die Betriebswirtschaftslehre im deutschsprachigen Raum ihnen gegenüber bislang eine eher distanzierte Haltung ein. Der Beitrag untersucht, ob und wie sich dies ändern könnte. Auf Basis einer Analyse der Veröffentlichungen zu diesem Themenbereich und seiner gegenwärtigen Verankerung in Hochschulen sowie der Praxis kennzeichnet er drei charakteristische, teilweise kontroverse Positionen zur Unternehmensethik. Aus ihnen wird der Schluss gezogen, dass deren Integration in das Fach einen mehrdimensionalen Ansatz verlangt, der sich auf die konkreten Anwendungsbereiche in den Unternehmen bezieht und Instrumente sowie Erkenntnisse zur Lösung der dort auftretenden Probleme bereitstellt.
