Crowdfunding – cechy i typologia

Abstract

Crowdfunding to zjawisko, które dzięki prężnemu rozwojowi w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu staje się pewnego rodzaju fenomenem wśród metod lokowania i pozyskiwania kapitału. Wzrasta także zainteresowanie tym tematem wśród badaczy i naukowców. W artykule podjęto próbę usystematyzowania pojęć i klasyfikacji na bazie stale rozwijającej się literatury przedmiotu. Dokonano analizy istniejących definicji crowdfundingu, a także podjęto starania precyzyjniejszego osadzenia crowdfundingu wśród modeli opartych na współtworzeniu wartości. Obrazując mnogość tworzonych definicji na przestrzeni ostatnich lat autor uwypukla, które cechy crowdfundingu są często postrzegane jako istota tego zjawiska. Celem pobocznym jest propozycja przekładów terminologii z języka angielskiego oraz dodanie argumentów do dyskusji i inspiracji dalszych badań naukowych. Główną metodą badawczą do realizacji celu jest metoda opisowa wsparta krytyczną analizą literatury przedmiotu.
