Abstract

[eng] Modes of coordination and transformation of the contract economy in the vegetable processing sector . . For a long time, production contracts have been ruling relationships between vegetables producers and processors. In the early sixties, an interprofessionnal organization was established in order to provide a legal framework to these arrangements. During the last few years, however its activity has been questionned. From an analysis in terms of mode of coordination, this paper conclude to the necessity of new kind of contracts, in order to solve problems arising from lack of mutual confidence, and risks of incomplete contract fulfillment.
