The International Expansion of U.S. Franchise Systems: Status and Strategies

This paper presents the survey results of U.S. franchise systems' participation in international markets. The results illustrate the entry motivations, ownership practices, marketing strategies, profit profiles and problems inherent in the operation of U.S. franchise operations abroad.© 1976 JIBS.
