Abstract

The decline in long-term unemployment has stalled over the last five years. Nonetheless, quite a few establishments are in principle willing to give the long-term unemployed a chance in the recruitment process - above all when they have been recommended for placement at the establishment. In addition, the in-house assessment of the work-related characteristics of these persons shows that the long-term unemployed sometimes have good prerequisites to offer.
