Estatus social y consecuencias sanitarias y socioeconómicas del coronavirus

Abstract

La pandemia de COVID-19 tuvo un impacto significativo en la población. Este estudio profundiza en las repercusiones en España, centrándose en las diferencias por estatus social. Utilizando encuestas del CIS (2020-2021), se estiman modelos logísticos para explorar vínculos entre estatus social, riesgo de infección, salud mental y preocupaciones económicas. Los resultados revelan que, si bien el estatus social no afecta a las tasas de infección, sí influye en la salud mental y en las preocupaciones económicas. Este estudio enriquece la comprensión de los efectos de la pandemia de COVID-19 y sus impactos desiguales.
