El proceso de internacionalización acelerado: el fenómeno de las International New Ventures

    Desde hace aproximadamente 25 años se considera que las empresas siguen un proceso de internacionalización gradual y en fases, de modo que las empresas van asumiendo mayor compromiso en los mercados extranjeros a medida que adquieren mayor conocimiento y experiencia. Sin embargo, las nuevas condiciones del entorno han propiciado la aparición de un tipo de empresas que se adentran en los mercados internacionales poco tiempo después de su creación. Se trata de las denominadas International New Ventures. En el presente trabajo se analizan los factores que han intervenido en su aparición y crecimiento, las características de estas empresas y las condiciones que debe cumplir una empresa para ser clasificada como INV. For approximately 25 years it thinks that firms follow a process of gradual internationalization and in phases, so that the companies assume more involvement in foreign markets as they acquire major knowledge and experience. However, new environmental conditions have led to the emergence of a kind of companies that enters into international markets soon after its creation. They are called International New Ventures. In this paper we analyze the factors involved in its appearance and growth, its characteristics and the conditions to be met by a firm to be classified as INV.
