Abstract

El sector de software y servicios informáticos (SSI) se dedica al desarrollo, producción y comercialización de programas de computación y sus servicios informáticos asociados. Esta rama de actividad económica es parte de un nuevo paradigma informacional que supone cambios drásticos en la forma de organización del trabajo y de los procesos productivos, conjuntamente con nuevos modos de consumir e incluso de relacionarse socialmente. Argentina ha mostrado un desempeño destacado en la producción y venta de este tipo de bienes. Utilizando los enfoques teóricos de la perspectiva triádica estructura-conducta-desempeño y del enfoque schumpeteriano de la empresa se analiza el desempeño de este sector en la localidad de Concepción del Uruguay. Mediante el uso de estadísticas descriptivas se delinean sus principales características.
