Artificial intelligence, fintech and corporate new quality productive

Abstract

This paper systematically explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on enterprises' new quality productive forces and its mechanisms of action, using data from Chinese listed companies from 2011 to 2023 as a sample. The study finds that AI significantly promotes the enhancement of new quality productive forces; the higher the level of financial technology development, the stronger the positive role of AI in promoting enterprises' new quality productive forces; AI development significantly improves enterprises' new quality productive forces by enhancing their innovation capabilities; there are regional differences in the impact of AI applications on new quality productive forces among enterprises in different areas.
