Abstract

This research examines how the financial products offered by Mutuelles de Solidarité affect the living conditions of users by enabling them to undertake income-generating activities and to fight against poverty. To achieve this objective, a quantitative survey supported by the questioning technique was carried out in Ituri, one of 26 provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, among beneficiaries of MUSO financial services. After analyzing the results, it turned out that the Solidarity Mutuals are a response to the problem of financing entrepreneurship in Ituri and contribute to the reduction of poverty. So, the MUSOs have a positive impact on the beneficiaries
