Diagnóstico de la innovación en el sector de producción de alimentos y bebidas de Pasto

Abstract

El estudio pretende fortalecer las capacidades de innovación del sector de producción de alimentos y bebidas del municipio de Pasto para lograr la reactivación económica de la región; de allí la necesidad de realizar una caracterización de la innovación del sector de producción de alimentos y bebidas del municipio de Pasto. La investigación se enmarca en el paradigma positivista, con un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación descriptivo-analítico; para la obtención de los resultados se empleó el software estadístico SPSS. La población está constituida por 17 empresas del sector de producción de alimentos y bebidas registradas en la Cámara de Comercio de Pasto ano 2021, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta dirigida a los gerentes. Entre los resultados, se encontraron que la mayoría de las empresas presentan la actividad económica 1081 que corresponde a la elaboración de productos de panadería, en su gran mayoría sociedades en comandita por acciones y microempresas no cuentan con un área de innovación. Como conclusiones se obtuvo que las organizaciones no se especializan en procesos de innovación, no existe asignación de recursos, ni personal experto en esta área, por ende, la cultura de innovación es deficiente e incluso consideran que innovar se constituye en un gasto y no una inversión. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The study aims to strengthen the innovation capacities of the food and beverage production sector of the municipality of Pasto to achieve the economic reactivation of the region; hence the need to characterize the innovation of the food and beverage production sector in the municipality of Pasto. The research is part of the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, descriptive-analytical type of research, to obtain the results, the SPSS statistical software was applied. The population is made up of 17 companies in the food and beverage production sector registered in the Pasto Chamber of Commerce in 2021, to whom a survey aimed at managers was applied. Among the results, it was found that the majority of the companies present economic activity 1081 that corresponds to the production of bakery products, the vast majority of companies limited by shares and micro-enterprises, they do not have an area of ​​innovation. As conclusions, it was obtained that organizations do not specialize in innovation processes, there is no allocation of resources, nor expert personnel in this area, therefore, the culture of innovation is deficient and they even consider that innovating constitutes an expense and not a investment.
