Abstract

The automotive industry is one of the most important industrial sectors in Germany. Numerous German global corporations are active in this sector. But lots of smaller and larger suppliers are also the reason why this sector provides the greatest added value within manufacturing. This article looks at the structure of the sector and traces the economic development of the current year. It also takes a look at the coming months.
