Abstract

Deutschland hat die Covid-19-Krise bisher recht gut gemeistert. Viele rufen nun nach mehr Staat, mehr staatlichen Ausgaben und mehr Interventionen. Ludger Schuknecht plädiert dagegen in diesem Beitrag für eine marktfreundliche Ordnungspolitik mit besserer Regulierung und einem effizienteren Steuersystem zur Stärkung der Rahmenbedingungen für Investitionen. International seien nicht Protektion und die Renationalisierung der Produktion, sondern offene Märkte und Marktmechanismen im Klimaschutz angesagt.
