Auch Leasing ist nicht immun gegen die Konjunkturschwäche - Investitionsindikator gibt jedoch Anlass zu vorsichtigem Optimismus

Die Erwartungen der am ifo Konjunkturtest Leasing teilnehmenden Unternehmen können einen entscheidenden Beitrag zu Prognosen der Entwicklung der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Ausrüstungsinvestitionen liefern. Nach den Ergebnissen des aktuellen Tests in der Leasingbranche scheint sich zur Jahresmitte 2001 das Wachstum der Investitionsausgaben in der deutschen Wirtschaft nicht mehr weiter zu verlangsamen. In den ersten drei Quartalen 2001 dürften danach die Investitionen in neue Ausrüstungen zwischen 41/2 und 5% zunehmen. Dies korrespondiert gut mit der jüngsten Prognose des ifo Instituts für das Gesamtjahr (+ 4,5%). Insgesamt werden die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Ausrüstungsinvestitionen 2001 damit wohl nur etwa halb so stark wachsen wie im letzten Jahr.
