Abstract

Our study investigates the impact of digitalisation on socio-economic inequalities in Italian regions, analyzing economic and demographic data alongside funding for digitalisation. Significant correlations emerge between GDP, unemployment, and funding, revealing a distribution of funds that could exacerbate pre-existing inequalities. We highlight the importance of inclusive policies and investments in digital education to promote an equitable digital future. The study offers ideas for further research, focusing on policies aimed at reducing disparities.
