Abstract

Chocolate, biscuits and confectioneries are rooted in cultural traditions, seasonal celebrations, family occasions and even everyday life in Europe and around the world. The dynamics of the EU confectionery market is analyzed. The authors considered the features of the chocolate segment of the confectionery market in the EU countries and the current trends in the development of the confectionery market.
