Abstract

La présente enquête renferme les principaux résultats issus l'enquête effectuée par le consultant Université Officielle de Bukavu, UOB en sigle, dans les bassins de production de la zone d'intervention du Programme Intégré de Réhabilitation de l'Agriculture au Maniema, en sigle PIRAM en Province du Maniema. Ces bassins de production sont : Kabambare, Kasongo, Pangi, Kibombo et Hinterland de Kindu. Ces résultats fournissent des informations détaillées sur les caractéristiques socio-économiques et environnementales de ces sites spécifiés sur la démographie, le système de production des exploitations familiales, la classification des exploitations agricoles familiales, l'analyse économique des exploitations agricoles des ménages, l'état des valorisations des productions, le circuit de commercialisation et les pistes d'évacuation, l'habitat, l'accès à l'eau et assainissement de chacun des bassins de production concernés. Ces enquêtes ont été réalisées dans la période allant d'Août à Septembre 2012 auprès de 712 ménages tirés dans 32 villages. Pour y parvenir, le choix de chaque village a été motivé par son importance démographique et agricole
