Wpływ sposobu zarządzania płynnością, premii za ryzyko i oczekiwań na stopy rynku międzybankowego w Polsce

Abstract

W pracy zbadano, od czego zależy kształtowanie się stóp rynku międzybankowego w Polsce. Wyjaśniono, jak sposób zarządzania płynnością przez bank centralny wpływa na krótkoterminowe stopy procentowe. Skonstruowano indeks zarządzania płynnością, który obrazuje relację pomiędzy poziomem absorbowanej przez NBP płynności a poziomem krótkoterminowej płynności sektora bankowego. Pokazano, że wzrost indeksu prowadzi do spadku spreadu pomiędzy stopą referencyjną a stopami o krótkim terminie zapadalności. Następnie sprawdzono, jakie czynniki przyczyniły się do ponadprzeciętnych wzrostów spreadów na rynku międzybankowym w czasie kryzysu. Wyniki wskazują, że była to premia za ryzyko na rynkach zagranicznych oraz, od początku 2009 do połowy 2010 r., premia za ryzyko na rynku krajowym. Uzyskane rezultaty pokazują, że odzwierciedlenie zmian stopy referencyjnej w stawce POLONIA następuje szybko i w pełni, do czego przyczyniły się operacje otwartego rynku o charakterze dostrajającym. Wpływ na stopy WIBOR nie jest natomiast pełny, co spowodowała utrzymująca się na podwyższonym poziomie premia za ryzyko kredytowe.
