Abstract

A tanulmány a különböző iskolázottságú és életkorú munkaerőcsoportok piaci értékelésének és termelékenységének alakulását elemzi 1986 és 1999 között egyéni kereseti adatok, valamint (a nagyvállalatokra becsült) termelési függvények segítségével. A béradatok az iskolázottság hozamának általános, minden korosztályra kiterjedő emelkedését - másként: a képzetlen munkaerő bérének csökkenését - mutatták 1989 és 1992 között. A transzformációs visszaesés után azonban, a piaci intézmények megszilárdulásával, az új technológiák megjelenésével az iskolázottság általános felértékelődése megállt. Csak a fiatal és képzett munkaerő bére és relatív termelékenysége növekedett - eleinte a modern technológiával dolgozó külföldi vállalatokban, majd a belföldi tulajdonú cégekben is -, a régebben megszerzett iskolázottság és a tapasztalat termelékenységi és bérhozama 1992 után már nem nőtt. A tudás felértékelődése a technológiai megújulás időszakában a fiatalabb korosztályokra korlátozódott.
