Regulierung des E-Lending für das Gemeinwohl oder im Sinne der Interessengruppen?

Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag diskutiert ausgewählte Aspekte einer Regulierung des E-Lending aus ökonomischer Perspektive. Dabei werden neben den Gemeinwohlaspekten des Zugangs zu und der Teilhabe an Literatur auch die Rolle von Interessengruppen und die Marktstellung digitaler Intermediäre in den Fokus gerückt. Der Beitrag fordert, die Rolle und die Macht von Intermediären im E-Lending in der Regulierungsdiskussion stärker zu beachten. Zudem werden das One-Copy-One-User-Prinzip sowie das Windowing kritisch hinterfragt.
