Digitalisierungsprozesse von KMU im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe - Folgebefragung

Abstract

Bei der vorliegenden Studie handelt es sich um eine Folgebefragung, die nach 2016 zum zweiten Mal den Digitalisierungsgrad von Unternehmen im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe untersucht. Unsere Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Bedeutung der Digitalisierung in den letzten fünf Jahren deutlich zugenommen hat. Rund die Hälfte der befragten Unternehmen sieht noch umfangreiche Digitalisierungspotenziale. Motiviert wird die digitale Vernetzung - innerhalb der Unter-nehmen und auch über die Unternehmensgrenzen hinweg - weiterhin durch die Möglichkeiten Kosten einzusparen, während der mit einer Vernetzung verbundene hohe organisatorische Aufwand die Unternehmen davon abhält. Der tatsächliche Fortschritt der Unternehmen auf dem Weg zur digitalen Fabrik ist hingegen eher gering. Als wesentliche zukünftige Herausforderung für die Digitalisierung sehen die Unternehmen die Sicherstellung einer qualifizierten Belegschaft.
