Abstract

In this work, the determinants of entrepreneurship in the Autónomos Community of Cataluña have been analyzed. Firstly, it defines what entrepreneurship is according to the GEM and presents the current situation of the labour market in Cataluña and how entrepreneurship is currently in this community. Then, the explanatory variables and the regression-dependent variables to be estimated from the GEM 2015 APS database are defined. The methodology used is then explained and the results obtained from running these regressions using the Minimal Ordinary Tables method are shown. Finally, conclusions are presented on the results obtained and government policies that could favour entrepreneurship in Cataluña are proposed.
