Abstract

Das vorliegende Arbeitspapler fasst die Ergebnisse einer im Sommer 1988 durchgeführten schriftlichen Expertenbefragung zu den Bestimmunsfaktoren von Forschung und Entwicklung in der Schweizer Industrie zusammen. Von den 940 beragten Untemehmungen haben 358 Oder ca. 40% geantwortet; sie waren in 127 verschiedenen Wirtschaftsarten tätig. Inhaltlich befasst sich die Befragung mit den zwei folgenden Determinanten von F&E: 1) Aneignung und Sicherung der Ergebnisse von F&E (Appropriabillty conditions) und 2) Technologische Chancen(Technological opporlunities). Die Ergebnisse der Betragung sind u.a. für die Patent- und Forschungspolitik sowohl von Unternehmungen als auch des Staates relevant.
