Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est d'analyser les différences géographiques de salaire de France métropolitaine, en exploitant des données individuelles localisées de salaire pour l'année 2013 (données DADS), qui proposent notamment une décomposition fine des métiers en plus de 400 postes. Nous estimons dans un premier temps des équations de salaire, avec comme variables explicatives des caractéristiques individuelles, des indicatrices géographiques et des indicatrices métiers. Nous montrons que les indicatrices métiers expliquent une part importante des différences de salaire, les indicatrices géographiques ne jouant qu'à la marge. A métiers identiques, certains territoires, tous en Ile-de-France, présentent cependant des salaires significativement supérieurs à la moyenne. Un focus sur ces territoires montre que ces sursalaires s'expliquent pour une part importante par la présence des secteurs de la banque et de la finance et de l'activité des sièges sociaux, au sein desquels figurent des métiers relevant de marchés à très fortes inégalités de rémunération.
