Derivation of long run factor demands from short run responses

Abstract

Le concept de fonction de cout restreint fournit un cadre dual pour l'analyse de la technologie adoptée dans le court terme. Il permet en outre, sous des hypothèses de convexité sur la technologie, de de terminer les différents équilibres possibles pour l'entreprise. Ce travail présente les propriétés de la fonction de coût restreint. Celle-ci permet par ailleurs de dériver les possibilités de substitution entre facteurs, selon les régimes de fixité. Ce cadre théorique s'applique ensuite à caractériser le secteur céréalier français en utilisant les données du RICA.
