Entrepreneuriat et communs numériques : alternative ou complémentarité ?

Abstract

Dans ce chapitre, nous explorons l'idée selon laquelle, en Afrique subsaharienne, l'entrepreneuriat en communs dans le domaine du numérique apporte la garantie d'un entrepreneuriat plus équitable et inclusif au service d'un développement local et durable des communautés et des territoires (Mboa Nkoudou 2017). Pour ce faire, nous nous appuyons sur une cartographie des communs numériques d'Afrique subsaharienne, complétée d'une revue de la littérature et d'une série d'entretiens semi-directifs avec des expertes et des experts du numérique ainsi que des porteurs et des porteuses de communs. Ce que nous entendons ici par « communs d'Afrique subsaharienne » renvoie à des ressources numériques telles que les codes, les informations ou les matériels informatiques dont les communautés d'utilisateurs et d'utilisatrices ou de contributeurs et de contributrices sont situées en Afrique subsaharienne. Nous avons exclu du périmètre les communs physiques qui mobilisent du numérique pour leur fonctionnement.
