Abstract

De la figure du peintre solitaire aux milliers de contributeurs participant à la production d'un jeu vidéo, les processus de création des Industries Culturelles et Créatives (ICC) sont marqués par une forte diversité dans leur régime de conception. Alors que la littérature en management de l'innovation tend à polariser l'exploration ou l'exploitation comme seuls régimes d'action pour les processus créatifs, les études empiriques dans les ICC décrivent des régimes locaux et spécifiques. Dans cet article, nous proposons une analyse comparée de 32 processus de création par leurs régimes de conception à travers une fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis. Nous aboutissons à une taxonomie de 6 régimes récurrents dans les ICC. Cette nouvelle grille de lecture des activités de création dans les ICC ouvre des perspectives de recherche contingentes sur les organisations des ICC et le déploiement de pratiques managériales et d'outils pour la création.
