Abstract

Les effets des instruments de la politique laitière sont analysés. Les auteurs développent un modèle d'équilibre partiel à court terme qui considère l'offre de lait, l'étape de transformation caractérisée par une production jointe et la demande de biens finaux. Le modèle analytique est utilisé pour faire la statistique comparative des principaux instruments utilisés pour réguler l'industrie laitière. Une version quantifiée du modèle permet alors de déterminer les effets de trois scenarii de réforme de la politique laitière sur le prix, la production, la consommation et les exportations des différents produits laitiers et de comparer leur impact sur le bien-être.
