Abstract

La crise sociale des Gilets Jaunes, qui a secoué la France dès le mois de novembre 2018 et durant tout l'hiver 2018-2019, s'est traduite par un ensemble de manifestations publiques, parfois violentes, dans l'espace urbain et péri-urbain. L'article s'intéresse tout particulièrement à l'occupation des ronds-points, bloquant l'accès de zones commerciales et, plus largement, l'entrée de nombreuses villes. Les chaînes d'approvisionnement ont été durablement déstabilisées en référence à un nouveau modèle, fondé sur de multiples micro-perturbations locales (blocage de ronds-points), qui complète le modèle ancien, fondé sur un nombre réduit de macro-perturbations globales (blocage de hubs). La crise des Gilets Jaunes souligne l'importance pour la recherche en logistique et supply chain management (SCM) de prendre en compte une dimension sociale liée aux débordements erratiques de la foule et, par conséquent, d'intégrer le comportement grégaire de l'individu pour une meilleure connaissance du fonctionnement des chaînes d'approvisionnement.
