Les situations entrepreneuriales : Définition et intérêts pour la recherche en entrepreneuriat

Abstract

Cet article s'inscrit dans les débats actuels sur l a notion d'opportunité (Alvarez and Barnay, 2007 et 20013, Venkataraman et al., 2012 ; Shane, 2012). Pour enrichir le débat autour de cette notion, nous proposons de mobiliser une notion qui émerge dans la recherche française mais encore peu utilisée dans la recherche en entrepreneuriat : les situations entrepreneuriales. A partir d'exemples montrant l'importance de la relation entre entrepreneur, opportunité et contexte, l'article montre dans un premier temps l'importance de la notion de situation entrepreneuriale dans la recherche dans ce domaine. Le second temps insiste sur le faite de sortir d'une logique rationnelle pour aller dans un troisième temps vers une approche cognitive des situations entrepreneuriales. Dans le quatrième temps une définition de la notion de situation entrepreneuriale est proposée. Le cinquième temps s'intéresse à des caractéristiques issues de la notion de situation entrepreneuriale. Enfin, le dernier temps propose une discussion sur les avenues de recherche que la notion de situation entrepreneuriale engendre.
