Abstract

The healthcare system in Indonesia has undergone various changes and encountered significant challenges over the past decade. Notably, the issue of inequity within the health system, particularly concerning the distribution of health facilities and workforce, is a prominent concern. Against the backdrop of evolving policy regulations and advancements in digital health, Indonesia’s potential in health services is promising. Consequently, interventions are imperative to address and improve prevailing imbalances in the accessibility and quality of health service facilities and healthcare personnel. Strategic interventions towards this end involve implementing comprehensive programmes to enhance equity and quality, prominently featuring the integration and advancement of digital health technologies.
