Agrarholzanbau In Der Deutschen Landwirt-Schaft: Ergebnisse Einer Empirischen Erhebung

Abstract

Prognosen zufolge wird es in der EU bis 2030 eine Bedarfslücke für biogene Festbrennstoffe geben, die aufgrund verschiedener Restriktionen nicht allein durch die Nutzung von „Wald-holz“ geschlossen werden kann. Laut Experten bedarf es daher zukünftig eines vermehrten Anbaus von Energieholz auf landwirtschaftlichen Flächen, um diese Bedarfslücke zu schlie-ßen. Bei der Betrachtung der aktuellen Anbauzahlen von Agrarholz wird jedoch deutlich, dass die Bereitschaft deutscher Landwirte zum Anbau bislang noch sehr gering ist. Um die poten-tielle Bereitschaft von Landwirten zum Agrarholzanbau besser einschätzen zu können und mögliche Zielgruppen für eine Ausweitung des Agrarholzanbaus in Deutschland zu identifi-zieren, wurde im vorliegenden Beitrag eine deutschlandweite Online-Umfrage unter 285 Landwirten durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse der Analyse zeigen einerseits, dass Landwirte ins-gesamt eine eher ablehnende Haltung gegenüber Agrarholz vertreten, andererseits zeigen sie aber auch, dass Landwirte hinsichtlich ihrer Anbaubereitschaft nicht als homogene Gruppe verstanden werden dürfen. Mittels einer Clusteranalyse konnten fünf unterschiedliche Grup-pen von Landwirten ermittelt werden, die sich teils erheblich in ihren Einstellungen zu Agrar-holz sowie ihrer Bereitschaft, Agrarholz anzubauen, unterscheiden. Auf der Grundlage der Ergebnisse der empirischen Analyse können abschließend Handlungsempfehlungen für eine Ausweitung des Agrarholzanbaus abgeleitet werden.
