"It’s the spectator who refines the work." Amateurkompetenzen in der Überflusswirtschaft

Abstract

Der Wertschöpfungszuwachs des globalen Konsums wird zunehmend von knappen, begehrten Imaginationsprodukten gespeist. Entsprechend wächst die Bedeutung der Rolle derjenigen Zuschauer, die an der Verwertung solcher Imaginationsprodukte teilnehmen; deshalb das gestiegene Interesse an der besonderen Kompetenz der Amateure. Vier Kernkompetenzen werden am historischen Beispiel von fünf Pariser Kunstamateuren des frühen 18. Jahrhunderts identifiziert und dann auf eine zeitgenössische Kunstsammlerin übertragen. Schließlich wird die Relevanz des "Amateurismus" für eine zukünftige, digitalisierte Überschusswirtschaft erörtert.
