Österreich 2025 – Regionale Aspekte weltweiter Wertschöpfungsketten. Die österreichischen Bundesländer in der Weltwirtschaft

Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt die Ableitung von regionalen Input-Output-Tabellen für die österreichischen Bundesländer für das Basisjahr 2011. Diese Tabellen werden konsistent in das WIOD-System eingefügt, das Aufkommen und Verwendung von 63 Gütern in 43 Ländern beschreibt. Das Ergebnis, ein multiregionales Input-Output-System, wird verwendet, um die Einbettung der österreichischen Bundesländer in weltweite Wertschöpfungsketten darzustellen und regionale Unterschiede herauszuarbeiten. Demnach bewirken die interregionalen Handelsverflechtungen zwischen den Bundesländern einen regionalen Ausgleich der exportinduzierten Effekte, wovon am stärksten Wien profitiert. Die höchsten exportinduzierten Wertschöpfungsanteile weisen aber Vorarlberg und Oberösterreich mit etwa 40% der regionalen Wertschöpfung auf.
