Abstract

The paper analyses problems of climate change mitigation policy management in various sectors of EU countries. It assesses the effectiveness of climate change mitigation measures in GHG emission reduction based on a systematic literature review and analysis of various policy documents and reports. A comparative analysis of climate change mitigation policies between various sectors and various EU countries was performed to define the best practices and develop recommendations to enhance climate change mitigation policies and measures in the worst-performing EU sectors and countries.
