[Defencelessness and incentive in the relation between retail chains and their suppliers. A causal analysis from the suppliers point of view]

Abstract

A kiskereskedelem koncentrációja a nagyméretű kereskedelmi láncok alkupozíciójának erősödéséhez vezetett, amelyeknek ezáltal egyre több lehetőségük nyílik szállítóikkal kötött szerződéseiket a maguk számára kedvezően alakítani. A kemény feltételek beszállítókra gyakorolt hatása ugyanakkor nem egyértelmű: egyes vélekedések szerint ezek a beszállítókat hatékonyabb termelésre ösztönzik, ami végső soron versenyképességüket növeli. Mások szerint azonban egyes szerződéskötési módok, amelyek a magyar gyakorlatban annak ellenére jelen vannak, hogy a 2006. június elsején hatályba lépett új kereskedelmi törvény is tiltja őket, torzítják a kiskereskedelmi láncok versenyét, és korlátozzák a beszállítók fejlődési lehetőségeit. Tanulmányunkban a Magyarországon jelen lévő kiskereskedelmi láncok és beszállítóik kapcsolatát, szerződéskötési gyakorlatát vizsgáljuk empirikus módszerekkel. Az adatbázis 392 élelmiszer-ipari termelő- és nagykereskedő vállalat vezetőivel készített 2007. évi kérdőíves vizsgálatból származik. Eredményeink szerint a nagyobb méretű, nagyobb árbevételű, dinamikusan fejlődő vállalatok gyakrabban szembesülnek a kiskereskedők erejével, ugyanakkor nem igazolható, hogy a kiskereskedelmi láncok inkább ösztönöznék innovációra szállítóikat, mint más típusú kereskedők.
