Abstract

This 11th Rothkopf rankings of academic contribution to the operations research practice literature continues the series that Michael Rothkopf began in 1996 and that Ronald Fricker continued. I assess the activity of universities in the production of practice-centric operations research between 2009 and 2015 using the ranking methods of my predecessors. I further suggest an alternative measure to the two that have been in use. Finally, I provide a time-series view of the measures of contribution across a longer period extending back to the year the various measures began, the first such aggregation since the rankings’ origination.
