Giovani e lavoro: culture, significati e identit?

Abstract

Questo articolo analizza il rapporto tra giovani e lavoro in Italia con riguardo al tema delle culture, dei significati e del valore che essi attribuiscono al lavoro attraverso una rassegna della letteratura e un?analisi dei dati disponibili. Tra gli interrogativi che si pone vi sono: come ? cambiato nel tempo, in seguito al processo di trasformazione del mercato del lavoro, e come sta cambiando, il rapporto che i giovani hanno con il lavoro? Quanto ? centrale nella loro vita? Quali sono le culture del lavoro emergenti tra i giovani? Quali gli aspetti considerati pi? rilevanti nel lavoro? L?articolo, strutturato in tre paragrafi, dapprima tratta delle rappresentazioni sociali dei giovani nel dibattito pubblico, politico e mediatico mettendole in relazione con la loro situazione occupazionale attuale; poi degli effetti delle trasformazioni del mercato del lavoro sulla vita dei giovani; infine, analizza gli atteggiamenti dei giovani verso il lavoro tra mutamenti e persistenze.
