Abstract

•The article shed new light about the surprise effect of COVID 19.•The surprise lies in the co-action of two different agents.•These agents are the evolved new properties of SARS-CoV2 and too much physical connectivity.•The pointed-out co-action was catastrophic revealing the fragility of our institutions and globalized socioeconomic system.•New research avenues are proposed related to the concept of K-vaves.
